How We Acquire

Amazon Publishing does not accept unsolicited original manuscripts at this time.

Our translation imprints, Amazon Crossing and Amazon Crossing Kids, invite open submissions from fourteen languages for consideration for English translation.

Virtual Read-Aloud Guidelines

Amazon Publishing is delighted to support remote learning by providing students and young readers with access to our books. We have no objection to the reading online of our books under the Two Lions and Amazon Crossing Kids imprints, solely for educational and non-commercial purposes, subject to the guidelines below. By posting a reading, you are agreeing to abide by these guidelines.

- For educators, librarians, and booksellers, prior to the reading, please send an email to globalrights@amazon.com with your name, school/library/store, city, state, and the title, author, and illustrator of the book you would like to read online, along with a description of your planned reading (e.g. audience, time, etc.). For authors and illustrators, please ensure you have any necessary permission from any co-creators or other rights holders prior to the reading.

- You may need to seek separate permission from the author, illustrator, or other rights holder.

- The reading may be displayed only in the private online classroom setting or social media live channels that we approve. No archival copies may be posted without our express written permission.

- At the beginning of the reading, please state the title of the book, the name of the author, illustrator, and translator (as applicable), and that the book was published by Amazon Publishing.

- Please delete the video or disable access by June 30, 2020, and delete any archived videos on social media.

- If you discuss any videos containing our books on social media, please tag @amazonpublishing so that we can follow along!
